Scholarship Schemes

Mahadevananda Mahavidyalaya actively encourages eligible students to apply for all available national and state government scholarship schemes. The college office assists students through the application process, document verification and online submission. Students are advised to check notification boards and the college website regularly for scholarship deadlines.

Important

Scholarship applications typically open between August and October each year. Students must keep their bank account linked to Aadhaar and have all documents ready before applying.

How to Apply — Step by Step

Identify Your Scheme

Check the table above to find which scholarship(s) you are eligible for based on your community, income and marks.

Prepare Documents

Keep ready: Aadhaar card, caste/community certificate (if applicable), income certificate, Class XII marksheet, college fee receipt, bank passbook (linked to Aadhaar) and a passport-size photograph.

Register Online

Visit the relevant portal (NSP / OASIS / SVMCM / WBMDFC). Create a new account using your mobile number and Aadhaar. Fill the application form carefully.

Submit to College

Take a printout of the completed application form and submit it along with all supporting documents to the College Office for institutional verification and forwarding.

Track Status

After submission, track your application status on the same portal using your registration ID. Scholarship amounts are credited directly to your Aadhaar-linked bank account.

Renewal Each Year

Most scholarships require annual renewal. Ensure you apply for renewal before the deadline and submit a fresh income certificate and marksheets for the previous academic year.

Students who need assistance with scholarship applications may contact the College Office during working hours (Monday – Saturday, 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM). Please do not wait until the last date — documents may take time to verify at the institutional level. The college does not charge any fee for scholarship facilitation.
