Mahadevananda Mahavidyalaya strictly adheres to UGC (Prevention, Prohibition and Punishment of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions) Regulations, 2009, and the directives of the West Bengal State University.

Every student must submit a signed anti-ragging affidavit at the time of admission, along with a separate affidavit from their parent/guardian.

Ragging in any form — physical, psychological, verbal, written or electronic — is strictly prohibited within and outside the campus premises.

Any student found guilty of ragging will be expelled from the institution and a First Information Report (FIR) will be lodged with the police.

The Anti-Ragging Squad conducts regular surprise checks in hostels, canteens, and common areas to ensure a ragging-free environment.

Complaints can be filed anonymously. The identity of complainants is kept strictly confidential.
