Department Details

The Department of Commerce of Mahadevananda Mahavidyalaya started its journey with the motto of imparting quality teaching in the commerce education. Since then it has traversed a long path ultimately reaching its present height. The Department is proud of its past faculty members who enriched the department by their great contribution in the teaching and learning. The present faculty is maintaining this legacy and thriving in attaining further excellence of the department.

The Department offers a stimulating and challenging study experience for students. The faculty always remains careful and alert to the need and aspiration of the students who are treated as the most valuable assets. They are always encouraged to interact with the teachers and ventilate their problem, if any, in understanding any topic which is further discussed and made understandable to them cordially.

The college also arranges for pre-placement training and career counseling for the students. They are always encouraged to participate in games and sports, debate and quiz competition and other co-curricular activities. Many of them have shown their excellence in games and sports, debating, etc. The department can also boast of its past students, many of whom are now well placed in the different walks of life.
